Quite true, but you shouldn't feel sorry for the folks who go to the grocery store for bottled water,
ice, bread, toilet paper, gasoline, or milk hours before the storm hits.
Ever notice that just before, and during a severe storm that people end up at the grocery store,only to find shelves empty?
That's because they hadn't prepared when they first heard about the storm, but procrastinated,
sometimes only hours before the storm actually hits landfall.
That is why "prepping" is a lifestyle and a choice, .. a choice made by decision.
My wife and I have ridden out 10+ hurricanes.
And we love to teach the newbies. Makes like much more comfortable.
You forgot the beer ..... I went though this after Katina and a couple more ,,,,, you run out after a couple days ,,, and it mite be a couple weeks before you have normal relieves in your area .....
