DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES SAY OBAMA IS THE REASON THE ECONOMY IS SO GOOD
The Daily Caller ^ | 5/5/2019 | Phillip Stucky

Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Cory Booker both argued during Sunday interviews that former President Barack Obama deserves the credit for a good economy under President Donald Trump.

The U.S. Labor Department announced Wednesday that the unemployment rate had hit 3.6%, the lowest rate since 1969. The report did note that 490,000 people left the workforce, but the gain was due in part to an increase in hiring in professional and business services, along with construction and healthcare jobs. Despite those gains, the pair decided that the credit went to Obama, not Trump, for the dramatic gain in the nation’s economy, during interviews Sunday morning on “State of the Union with Jake Tapper.”

“You know what I’m thinking about? I’m thinking about when we were in that downturn and President Obama came into office and he had to deal with that with the Congress to try to, one, right the financial industry and, two, get us on the road to recovery,” Klobuchar asserted during the interview. “I remember that the Republicans were giving him grief when he took any credit for that. So I think that we have had policies in place starting with President Obama that have aided that recovery.”

Booker then added a similar statement in his interview: “First of all, I love that Trump is taking credit for a recovery that started under Obama.”

Some people just never learn how to use a brain. Trump lowered corporate taxes from 35% (the highest in the world) to 21% and businesses from around the globe decided they wanted to come here and do business. The GDP under Obama was a lackluster 1.75% and under Trump it's at 3.2%. They are fools if they think anyone with a brain cell believes them.

Incredible. But at least they are admitting the economy is good. So, it is a start.

This really is quite consistent for the Democrats. Obama spent his entire two terms blaming the miserable economic results his policies yielded on the W. Bush administration.

Amy would only be sticking her neck out if she wasn’t worried about Trump taking MN.
Trump needs to hammer the Gun Confiscation message in the Midwest.

We had a depression under Obozzo worse than anything since the failed politics of FDR in the 1930s.

We were very close to canabalism in some parts in the country due to the failed policies and massed unemployment of Obozzo.

Trump has preceded over a economic boom unparalleled in history. He is the greatest economic mind the Republic has ever known

Good luck convincing Americans with brains (i.e. not democrat NPCs) that Obama was an economic miracle worker and it just took exactly eight and half years for his boom to finally kick in.

Just ask them to name two or three Obama economic policies that were enacted and to explain how they caused these positive outcomes. Specific policies, specific results.

The person who can answer that question does not exist.
