I expect someone who tried to murder a child will be looked upon much like a child rapist in prison. In that case the 20 years will be a moot point, he probably won’t make it six months.
Convicts have their own legal standards and child molesters are pretty much an automatic death penalty.
I thought the suspect was known to the authorities and had a history of mental illness?
Release him. Thee are people as angry at him as everyone here is but with less impulse control.
