First, it was Father’s Day (Stannis), now it’s Mother’s Day...
This is an oldie, but a goodie — it explains how these things go...
All the great operas in ten minutes:

Wow, that was really stupid. The lazy writing is astounding. It is absolutely astounding.
But hey, throw in lots of slow motion scenes with some dramatic music and it really makes up for everything!!
I just dont know where to start with the inconsistencies, light speed change of character arcs and absolute nonsense.
Season 7: Im going to not fly my dragons to Kings Landing and torch it. Instead, Ill listen to my advisors and just go North to get rid of that Night Kimg plot thingy we cant seem to figure out how to reconcile with the Cersei thing.
Season 8: forget everything you saw in Season 7 and lets torch the place.
Oh, and forget the whole Maggie the Frog prophecy thing that we have been following religiously heretofore.
Oh, also, the fact that nobody is left standing after the Battle of Winterfell except the main characters and that most of the Army is toast, forget that too. Suddenly, the Dorthraki are backy and the unsullied just regenerate. Abra ca Dabra.
I was watching a Godzilla movie and a Game of Thrones episode broke out.
Methinks Danerys doesn’t exactly have the right temperament to be the head honcho.
I think Arya is going to end her. With Kings Landing gone; all there is to rule over is 6 scattered kingdoms. Next week should be interesting to see how they wrap this up.
PS: Remind me to never piss off a girl with a fire breathing dragon. That sucker is badder than an Apache helicopter, a Warthog, a Harrier, and an Intruder put together. I kept wondering when it would run out of fire but it never did.
Dracarys.
“How much of a threat is Dany without even a single healthy dragon?”
zero.
I thought the switching back and forth between Arya fleeing the destruction and the fight of The Hound was heartbreaking.
He really loved her...and she had affection for him.
Her survival and his death were intertwined.
Heartbreaking.
However, I bet that sneaking, cold blooded Sansa ends up winning it all.
lol
At this point, if Drogon, Ghost and Nymeria are the only survivors, I’m good with that.
And probably Arya.
Otherwise, no longer care.
Always figured Dany would go batcrap at some point.
Every episode, on an average of 3 minutes, she’s saying “Bend the knee” to anyone within hearing distance.
/don’t dragons ever run out of fuel?
On the upside, Bran wasn’t sitting around doing his Creepy Zen thing, this ep.
She still has some of the slashy/stabby Dothraki and Unsullied left over.
Yet, as demonstrated tonight, Dany on just one dragon can lay waste to an entire city. That it was done wantonly and without strategic purpose shows that she has decisively chosen to be one of the bad Targaryens.
Bran will probably be king but i think at the very end they might show him with a blue flash in his eyes. Jon goes back north to be with his direwolf, Arya 5akes out Dani. Or 8f it goes according to the terrible writings a red meteorite might crash into 5he kingdom and kills all.
Must have been some strong democratic thinking in the last couple episodes, make no sense, kill everything.
This episode.... totally wrong, if they bring back GOT in the future i won’t be interested.
Bran doesn’t want anything, now, because he’s not Bran, he’s the 3 eyed raven or whatever and is spacey as hell.
Though it makes NO sense at all, it’s possibly the biggest shock ending they could make, so weirdly possible.
/votes for Jon going home to his wolf
Screw it.
I’m gonna go look at the spoiler groups.
:D
Sansa has learned how to play the game from Cersei, Olenna Tyrell, and Littlefinger. I guess it wouldn’t be all that surprising if she “won” whatever is left over.
Jon has repeatedly said he doesn’t want the throne. I think Arya will be the one to end up on it. Either that or Tyrion and Sansa.
In season 1, she lied about Arya’s wolf and Joffrey and her wolf died for her lie, because she wanted to be queen, no matter what.
She has not changed one bit, only gotten “better” at achieving that singular goal.
The poor “little bird” everyone sought to protect is actually a velociraptor, biding her time.
If Nymeria eats her face, I will rejoice.
/team direwolves
:)
Supposedly there are “prequels” in the works.
I’m not paying $16 a month for that crap.
