Back when I was 15-20 y/o, Doris was making movies aimed at my parents' generation, and I wasn't all that interested.
But as I got older, my interests changed and found most of her works to be quite entertaining.
RIP Doris and thanks for all you did.

She did have a lovely voice. Pretty, too. I understand that she wanted to be a dancer but she was on some sort of accident that injured her legs so she turned to singing and acting.

Thx - I've seen all her movies and the ones from the 60s are my favorites. Great examples of what life was all about back then.
At the time, I was too busy doing my own thing and wasn't concerned with how my parents were living their lives.
