The 5G network isn’t going to be emitting ionizing radiation. Its frequencies are in the gigahertz range; visible light, which we’re exposed to every day, is in the terahertz range, and X rays are in the petahertz to exahertz range (the higher the frequency, the greater the energy and thus the greater ease of ionization). For microwaves (gigahertz) to cause thermal burns, they have to be extremely concentrated as in the microwave oven, and at such concentrations you’d see trees and buildings catching fire (the concerns with microwaves is due to how water and fats are heated by large doses of them).

I never wear sunscreen on a daily basis. I don’t expect to get skin cancer unless I’m engaging in some kind of unnatural behavior, frankly. We need a certain amount of sunlight for vitamin D production, and perhaps it is not natural for us to be hiding in buildings so much on a daily basis anyhow.

The greater concern is of course who controls these networks.

I have one of those stetzer meters...found that a plug in emergency light in our bedroom was the WORST at emitting...still wondering how accurate the meter is, tho.

Consider yourself fortunate if your immune to skin cancer due to exposure from the sun.

We need a certain amount of sunlight for vitamin D production"

With modern science and medicine, we know that the skin absorbs UV B radiation which is then converted to previtamin D3 which in turn isomerizes into vitamin D3. And the rate at which this occurs, varies wildly by skin type, by location on the planet (latitude), by altitude, by the time of day, by the season, etc and so on. "In the winter, it's virtually impossible to produce vitamin D from the sun if you live 37 degrees above the equator (or north of Atlanta)" [1]

The best and most constant way to make sure your body has enough fat soluble vitamin D is spending a limited time in the sun and eating foods with naturally occuring vitamin D (ex. salmon, tuna, mackerel and beef liver and egg yolks), or enriched with D (ex. milk, cereal and some orange juices). And then supplementing with a multi-vit or an actual vit D supplement as needed.

However, the amount of time needed in the sun is actually very little. "Even committed proponents of unprotected sun exposure recommend no more than 10 to 15 minutes of exposure to arms, legs, abdomen and back, two to three times a week,"[2] [3]

But just like everything else in this world, excessive amounts of sun exposure can be very bad. In fact, drinking too much water can kill you.

The point is, at some point the increasing frequencies will in fact become a health concern. The question was, at what point is that? Who knows for sure.

And yes, Chinese control of this new network is the most immediate threat.
