Koepka has what is needed for that brutal course - incredible length and the ability to hit even narrow fairways....the lack of driving accuracy has always been an issue with Tiger...which led to his fame as an incredible scrambler...I imagine Tiger’s body was rebelling as evidenced by a few layups out of rough conditions that he used to try to blast his way out of.
Gonna watch again today just to see if Koepka can keep it up ... he’s certainly strong enough(and accurate) to be the next top dog in the PGA.

“...to be the next top dog in the PGA.”

Wish it was that easy, and honest. The PGA is a business and they have used their rankings to market themselves. A player wins a tournament and suddenly they are better than sliced bread. Woods won his first non-artificially handled tournament since 2013 with the Masters and he jumped to number 6. But he has been their device to getting TV time for a lot of years. And they have both abused the public with it.

Johnson with his length is the new one, however. And he brings a bit of story to him because his “big named” father in law, who doesn’t trust him for good reason, travels with him, Wayne Gretzky. Johnson’s a sleaze, also. But chicks dig the long ball because it’s marketed that way. And that puts butts in the seats and get their sponsor’s products sold.

I agree, Koepka has played some impressive golf and has the ability to be another great player.

I’m hoping Spieth can settle down and get it back together also, he’s not only a good player but is a gentleman.
