Treasury Secretary Rejects Democrat’s Subpoena for Trump’s Tax Returns

WASHINGTON—Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin refused to comply with a congressional subpoena for President Donald Trump’s tax returns on May 17. Mnuchin rejected the request from House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal, a Democrat, saying that it lacks “a legitimate legislative purpose.” Neal’s request is one of a battery of efforts by Democrats targeting Trump that they initiated after gaining control of the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm election. Trump refers to these efforts as “presidential harassment.”

President Trump should formally request the Tax Returns of EVERY Democrat in the Congress in an effort to determine if Congress Members have Unjustly Enriched themselves using privileged or confidential information, or any scheme by which Taxpayer Funds and/or Government Contracts end up in the hands of Congress Members Famil;y Businesses.

(g) Disclosure to President and certain other persons.--

(1) In general. --Upon written request by the President, signed by him personally, the Secretary shall furnish to the President, or to such employee or employees of the White House Office as the President may designate by name in such request, a return or return information with respect to any taxpayer named in such request.  Any such request shall state--

(A)  the name and address of the taxpayer whose return or return information is to be disclosed,

(B)  the kind of return or return information which is to be disclosed,

(C)  the taxable period or periods covered by such return or return information, and

(D)  the specific reason why the inspection or disclosure is requested.

We need to know if the Congressional Sexual Harassmetn Slush Fund payments were declared as “Income” or “Payment in Kind” on the respective Congress-critters tax returns.

Were all Federal, State & Local taxes, plus SS & Medicare taxes paid?

If not, immediately assess Taxes Owed and Penalties by garnishing their Federal Paychecks.
