EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS VIDEO CLIP -- MARTY CROSSING THE CARRICK-A-REDE ROPE BRIDGE
My prediction:
Danarys tells the dragon to fry Tyrion and it doesn’t work, because he is a Targaryan!
There is a lot that bothers me. But I’ll just mention one thing:
Viewers saw Cersei and Jaime in the basement of the Red Keep. We saw the building fall in on them. They are dead. We know this. I see no possibility that they will somehow show up in the final episode.
However —
No characters in the show knew that they were in the basement of the Red Keep. No one in the show saw them die. No one in the show knows what happened to Cersei and Jaime.
In any logical story telling, the characters in the show would wonder what happened to them. Did they escape? Are they in Pentos? Will they return?
But it seems clear that no characters in the show will lose any sleep over this. They are both dead. The viewers saw them die, and so the characters in the show know that they are dead.
That’s sloppy story telling.
First on all, I liked and got hooked on GOT.
It may have been the Dragons.
Thankfully, it will soon be over.
No matter how bad the final season and episode.
It will be done.
And I will call Cox Cable on Monday and cancel HBO.
Not only HBO but all or as much of the other cable offerings that I have no interest in.
Triple play?
I’ve literally never used that Phone.
I’m currently paying for movie channels that attempt to indoctrinate me in some Black Thug culture or some trans B**lS**t SJW nonsense.
All Black All the time.
All Gay all the time.
WTF ?
I’m done.
I’m thinking with the money I’ll save I could get the Playboy channel and still come out ahead.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
I think after 8 seasons, the originally young cast members are no longer young. Maybe they wanted it over. It’s hard to believe that HBO did, given the ratings.
But, I think you’re right. They are rushing to a conclusion, and it’s a bit of a shame after building up some of these story lines for years. Cercei and Jaime die in a collapsed building? Hound dies falling off a building with his brother.
Daenarys a mad targaryen? I will dislike that more than anything, because it runs counter to everything she’s fought for for years, so it’s so out of character. I’ve always suspected she would die for Jon Snow or vice versa, so that won’t bother me so much.
Who’s left: Daenarys, Snow, Devos, Arya, Sansa, Sam, Gilly, Brienne, Tyrion, Bran, Yara, Gendry, 1 dragon.
Who fights the dragon? Nobody, I suppose.
And HBO wants their reruns watched.
I’m betting on a happy ending of some sort.
My boot drive died on my computer yesterday and it won’t be fixed until Monday at the earliest, perhaps longer. I’ll have to avoid all forms of media until I can get it working and download the final. Or I could just watch a recap on YouTube. I don’t think the final is going to be that good. The problem is I have committed so much time to the series it would be a shame to miss the final episode.
Ill watch. But honestly, the show runners killed it. HBO wanted a 10 episode season but these guys sold them on six prolonged episodes that would have the feel of epic films. They sacrificed character development for spectacle. The story makes little sense. The penultimate episode was like a Godzilla flick.
Yes, I know Danys flip was foreshadowed. But as a college prof once told me, foreshadowing is not character development.
Ghost is back with his master.
Best ending ever!
Can you imagine all the mothers who are upset now because they’ve named their daughters Khalessi.
Arya becomes Ferdinanda Magellan. A spin off series no doubt.
I was dragged into watching it.
They went all liberal at the end.
Predictable.
Yawn.
We just watched the ending episode. We didn’t have any problems with it. It was fine . Tied everything together nicely and made sense.
I remember at times these past 8 Years plus wed see images of snow failing on the iron throne
Tonight we saw why
Lots and lots of foreshadowing tells
never heard so much pissing and moaning when we have had the greatest show in the history of TV.
