I’m doing two restorations now. Doable, but a helluva lot of work. It will always be tweaked even after they are done.

Is there a Graveyard Cars that fixes Fords?
67 Mustang Cobra. A CAR barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild IT. We have the technology. We have the capability to REbuild the world’s first WRECKED 67 MUSTANG. THIS COBRA will be that CAR. Better than IT was before. Better, stronger, faster...

Look at it as Art, or History.
Mechanically, rear leaf springs, a flexy unibody and ignition points make for a bumpy, twitchy unreliable drift down the highway.
Loved my 65 convertible and 69 Mach I, but that was 25 years ago.
My WRX goes through the snow, gets 30+ mpg and can out corner the 350GT.
Shelby did wonders for the American auto industry, made millions happy drivers and helped BEAT Ferrari in the 60s.
Look at it all and enjoy the memories.

Speaking of wrecked supercars, what's left of a 1968 Road Runner, An incident that happened near my old stomping grounds on the Palisades Pkwy in Rockland Cty, NY. A Rolf Dunbier (mispelled various ways), most likely committed suicide, after being caught a year earlier, for plotting to blow up a very important railroad bridge in Zambia. He was being investigated by the FBI. Lived in Scarsdale, ran a German Metal Company. The plan was to spike the price of copper globally. It seems he tried to pull a Nelson Mendella, but for financial gain instead of making a political statement. The remains of the Road Runner was last seen at a Citgo station in Nanuet, NY, before presumably being "repurposed" as a Doge Colt or something similar :-(
