Many Democrats, including most 2020 presidential candidates, were quick to politicize the tragic mass shooting in Virginia Beach to push their gun control agenda, but Second Amendment supporters weren’t about to take any of it lying down.
News broke Friday that public utilities department engineer DeWayne Craddock, 40, allegedly used a .45-caliber handgun with a sound suppressor to murder 12 of his former colleagues, but all Democrats needed was news of a mass shooting to echo their calls for gun control.

They miss the irony of the fact it was disarmed government employees who were slaughtered.
Government turned out to be the ultimate gun-free zone. Go figure.

In the limited snips I’ve seen on the news, it doesn’t appear any of the local people (cops, politicians) are calling for more gun control.
More people need to realize their right to own weapons is their best defense against being murdered (by anyone).
I always liked silencer equipped .38 snub nose revolvers.
Chances of it getting traction are zero.
People are fed the illusion the law will keep them safe - until it doesn’t.
When someone decides to break the law, we’re all at risk.
Sure - especially here in the NYC metro area (where strict gun control in the city and neighboring NJ ensure only criminals are running around with handguns).
The response here is to just avoid certain populations altogether - anywhere - when possible.

Actually without existing gun control and with the likelihood that some of the target group are armed there would have been no such attack. Guys who want to kill a bunch of people while committing vicarious suicide don’t do it by attacking people with guns where some are likely to be armed. Bombs, maybe, or drive a truck into a crowd.
You seem to be forgetting about the high capacity drum magazines that convert the pistol into an automatic machine gun and grenade launcher. And don't forget the laser pointer sights that can be used to bring down an airliner.
my point is the libturds keep saying they will only allow magazines that hold 7 rounds but almost any semi-auto pistol can accept magazines holding many more rounds. Like “common sense gun control” their real agenda is to only allow single shot rifles and shotguns and revolvers smaller than 32 cal.
Democrats only favor gun control because they are running out of time. Their voters are waking up and starting to see the shell game that has been run on them by their own party.
The last thing they need is a well armed voter base who is disgruntled and has had enough ...

Not quite. It's a gun free zone for employees The general public can carry, with a government permit, of course, but the employees who were murdered were not permitted to defend themselves.
Except Para-Ordnance,Glocks, Springfield Armory XDs and XDms, Armscor and a few others. Perhaps that's why he carried two of them. So did most of the responding cops; some had three.
