A Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday shows President Trump facing tight matchups in Texas with potential Democrat challengers. According to the poll, former Vice President Joe Biden leads Trump in the Lone Star State, 48–44 percent. “The numbers are good for Vice President Joseph Biden who dominates the field in a Democratic primary and has the best showing in a head-to-head match-up against President Donald Trump,” Quinnipiac’s assistant director, Peter A. Brown, said. Brown also said this could “spell trouble” for Trump.
“In historically red-leaning Texas, the report for the rest of the Democratic field is not so bad either, which could spell trouble for President Trump,” he stated. “It is the largest state in the country with a Republican edge.”
In six other potential races, Trump barely edges out his competitors, leading Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) by one point, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) by three points, and former U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D) by three points.

I don’t think Texas will flip in 2020, but it’s likely to do so in the next 8-12 years. When that happens, we enter a new paradigm that I rather not see.
Demographics is destiny.
Polls this far out from an actual election, or even selection of a potential rival for the Presidency, tend to be pretty meaningless.
Killing a chicken and reading its entrails is a more reliable form of prediction. And makes about as much sense.

By as many votes as can be obtained from south of the border if necessary and counting every corner of the gravestones as one fair democrat vote.
The only 2 closest pollsters who got it right in 2016 was the LAT/Sunshine poll and another which I cant remember but Q wasn’t even close. It’s a lib-run college trying to be important as usual..

It is a garbage poll. Uses “registered voters.” Might as well subtract a points from the Rat candidate, as it skews left by design.
