This. One rule I was violating when I did the “fake phone call” was an important one to me: Looking alert. I have a friend that is a “gun nut”. He has his suits tailored to fit his holster. He said he can tell if a person walking down the street is armed with a gun, simply by the way they carry themselves as they walk.

After hearing that, I actually started walking down the street, imagining I’ve got a nice .45 in a holster.

You live in Kentucky, IIRC. Unless there’s some issue I’m unaware of (and I’m not asking), you could have an actual nice .45 in a holster.
