Spent a few times in psych after head injury.
One guy MUTILATED his face and neck with a razor.
So many hopeless cases there.
Real stab wounds or just bloody pokes in the skin to look dramatic. Not like the olden days of falling on your sword.
Much like a person who slashes their wrists, but makes sure the woulds are not deep enough to cut tendons or arteries.

Notice how many of these mental cases try suicide time and time again but rarely succeed.
if i were her therapist my advice to him woulda been “Grow up”- that doc that treats the obese doesn’t mince words with the food addicts- He tells them point blank that they are either going to ‘grow up’ (essentially- by telling them they are either going to stop resisting, and get with the program, or they are going to die an early death because of their health)- the people resist it- throwing temper tantrums- but some finally get the courage up to stop throwing tantrums, and grow up and get with the program-

She could not have been serious about offing herself if she accepted medical care.
She is also not very bright as it is difficult to stab oneself dead. It is much easier to go into a building and climb to at least the third or fourth floor before diving off head first.
Too bad she didn’t finish the job.
