Generators
So home generators get turned on how does this help. If I had a small home I’d fire up the gas generator. Seems to me this creates a new fire hazard. Or maybe I think like a man who lives in a red state.
The liberal Luddites didn’t think through their hating of electricity.
What about the indoor marijuana growers? Oh, wait, they’ll just fire up their generators. No risk of fire, there.
Selective load shedding is the preferred alternative to widespread blackouts. Should shed the most vocal NIMBY neighborhoods first, just to uphold accountability.

True - but I can understand it as a self-defense action...even a freak accident that can be attributed to them and Kalifornia will have their nuts in an even tighter vise. Funny how a State can make laws that make it difficult/impossible to do the safe thing w/o being open to huge lawsuits...kind of like laws where folks had to shovel the sidewalk in front of their place....if they didn’t, they could be fined but anyone hurting themselves couldn’t sue because the natural state was an “act of God”, but if they complied and someone slipped and hurt themselves, they could sue the homeowners butt off because they were responsible for creating the dangerous condition by the act of shoveling...
