Actually, one would leave with a car and a $10k tax bill. Most people who win cars in promotions like this have to sell the car to pay the taxes. Still much better than not winning it at all, though.

Reminds me of my son when he played in high school. His car was parked down the left field line in the parking lot. He was at bat and hit a log foul ball that dented the roof of his own SUV. What are the chances? Especially when there were about 30 cars in that lot.

Back in the late 60’s in Seattle,IRRC, there was a car dealer who would beat cars with a sledge hammer in his TV ads.
He actually sold several of the cars to buyers who wanted a car in the ad. Imagine that.
As a KC resident who takes a passing interest in the KC Royals, Moose was one of the real good guys near as I could tell.
