Madonna — whose Catholic background has always played a role of one kind or another in her music career — said she'd like to have a meeting with Pope Francis and guessed what she might say to the pontiff. "Let's talk about Jesus' point of view about women. Let's talk about it," Madonna revealed during a Tuesday episode of Andrew Denton's Interview, an Australian chat show, the Daily Mail said. Then the 60-year-old singer said she'd ask the pope, "And don't you think Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?"

Nope.
“And don’t you think Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?”
DEFINATLY!! And since the unborn woman, or man, can’t tell us, we must protect them.
NO
I think popie Frankie would adore Sinead O’Conner.
Jesus was all about Life.
Satan is all about Death.
And where does abortion fall on that simple spectrum?
Madonna, her videos lead girls to dress like whores and act the same. And she thinks she has the answers to the worlds problems
No.
He would recognize that free choice includes the option of choosing to do evil
And would warn of the consequences
Matthew 18:14
“So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish”
No, Madonna, I don’t think He’d cherish the killing of the unborn.
Answer 1: Of course he would, and by the time she's carrying a baby, she's already made that choice. If she aborts it, she's then made TWO contradicting decisions. Do you think she has a right to do that, Madonna?
Answer 2: Of course he would, so long as she doesn't decide to use it as a murder weapon, such as by becoming a suicide bomber, having an abortion, or in some other way violating the rights of others to decide what to do with THEIR bodies. Her right isn't so absolute that it overrides similar rights possessed by others.
No. Jesus said to woman caught in adultery "Sin no more". Not, "It's your body and you can commit adultery with it if you want to."
As the divine representative on Earth or whatever, Pope should slap hell out of her and tell her to put on some clothes.
Well, you do have the right to choose hellfire and damnation, Madonna, but I’m sure Jesus would rather that you didn’t.
Fallacious argument. The baby/fetus is not a part of the woman's body.
To the ideological argument she so maladroitly puts forth: no, Jesus would not condone the murder of an unborn child.
Astounding ignorance.
The right to control one’s own body has limits. If I do anything to put another life in jeopardy, my right to do anything has been waived until I can get the other life to safety. If I were to pick up a baby, I no longer have the right to simply drop my tired arms. Legally I must get that baby to safety before I have the right to drop my arms without consequences. Pregnancy not only creates another life but places that life totally within the control of the woman. She has the moral, if not the legal, obligation to get that baby to a place of safety (i.e., delivery) before she can have total control again of her body.
She had that choice before she got preggers...
Well, you do have the right to choose hellfire and damnation, Madonna, but I’m sure Jesus would rather that you didn’t.

You have cut right to the chase, Boogieman.
Correct on all counts.
