So when 48 hours passes and the President has not ordered Iran attacked, what then?
I get it that the President has to have the authority to take us to war if missiles are inbound.
But war with Iran is exactly the situation wherein the people’s representatives (House) and the states representatives (senate) MUST have yes or no authority.
We have never lost a war declared by our Congress. We have never won a war that wasn’t.
And there’s a reason for that.
