Iran as the ‘number one sponsor of terriorists’ is a statement of the same integrity as ‘Republicans want their slaves back’ or ‘Russia is the number one oppressor of LGBT rights’.
You can still hear all three ideas all the time despite the fact that they are factually false.
Nobody says Iran is perfect. It did wrong things, still do it and will do it further.
But it is not close to a number one source of terrorism.
If Al-Qaeda or ISIS are telling you something Iran is actually fighting militarily against them unlike many US allies who support them.
And even if it was the biggest sponsor of terror it doesn’t justify the war. It doesn’t take much brain to identify the real thing but nobody argues for war with them. They are US allies and the enemies of Iran at the same time.
And as people with senses on thread mentioned the only things to achieve with the little victorious war on Iran is that it would maintain a regime but US would certainly have a new president after the election.

Wanna know the best way to avoid even that small chance? Don’t let a lot of Muslims into your country and don’t invade/attack theirs.
We’ve got far bigger problems in the country than going to war with another nation. Hell, I’d rather see the military re-invade California and reclaim it as U.S. territory than attack Iran.
It is nothing compared to the threat on our soil. We lose President Trump and we lose the country. We are being invaded on our own soil. We have huge swaths of idiots who are going to vote clamoring for socialism and perfectly willing to vote for a communist to get it. We are in serious $hit right here and the only thing keeping the war from being right here in our own country is President Trump. Iran is does not even register on the scale of danger to our nation.
It we get into a war with Iran it's president biden in 2020. How does that sound?
