They’ll only have a few Dictators left
Is this the knitting club at a mental hospital?
I want to learn to knit. And knit THAT!
I’ve been a member of Ravelry for years. I will be unsubscribing. I’ve also been knitting since I was a child, so I really don’t need them to knit.
It is utterly unbelievable to me that people are so intolerant of other people’s political beliefs. We never used to be. My 36 year old son is still not speaking to me or his elderly father because he gleaned we both voted for Donald Trump. He is right, of course, and I will be doing it again.
And yes, we did take him out of the will.
Why is a knitting community getting into politics in the first place?
And why do they feel they have to be anti-Trump?
beautiful! nice work.
Doesn’t surprise me. I was kicked out of a quilting forum because I couldn’t take the violin symphony over illegal immigrants anymore, and said so.
Anyone on FR who can direct me to an alternative site? There are tons of alternative knitting sites but... Ravelry gives you an online notebook where you can keep pics of everything you made, and look up all the stuff others have made - comparing others Experiences with various patterns and yarns.
For example I might be considering making the Anna dress pattern by Bernat. I can search it on ravelry and see scores of pictures of finished products. How did they turn out? What colors looked best? What years worked best? What positives or margarines do other ravelers have?
Thats what I use it for, and I love having an organized spot with pics of all my stuff in order. Id love to find an alternative.
!!!
Oh that is the best-dressed deer evah!
Talk about bucking trends, lol.
Where’s my crochet hook.
Because they are knitwits!
That gun and deer are awesome Alice. You need to contract out to freepers.
I’ve just sent Ravelry an email asking them if they consider me, a Trump supporter, a white Supremacist. Would you believe I actually belong to that site?. The President sure has gotten under a lot of thin skins.
Oh, I have no intention of remaining on Ravelry. I just want them to have to respond to me before I leave and take my business elsewhere.
Just dang! I,too, belong to Ravelry. Had no idea the Admins were a bunch of raving loonies. I just want to knit socks, ladies... Pretty, lacey socks with yarn so expensive I don’t tell my husband...
When I decided to start spinning yarn and weaving about ten years ago, I quickly learned that theses people are almost all ultra liberal elite snobs. Like all liberals, they are intolerant to a fault. My expensive loom sits empty, because these are not the people I want to be around.
I took a look at Ravelry and decided I didn’t want to join then.
There are still lots of sane people involved in these crafts on the Web. Look around.
Ping for tomorrow
They is having a ball needling you, bro.
