Also, it's on a continuum. People aren't necessarily shocked or disgusted if their doctor or their child's teacher is gay, they just aren't "very comfortable" with that and they are comfortable about admitting it.
When I was about five years old in the late 50’s I met my first Gay Couple. They were Tenants of my Grandmother.
Even then I knew they were Homosexual, but they were nice People and they looked after my Grandmother. My Parents appreciated their care and concern and bore them no ill will.
Since we hadn't moved out to CA from New York yet it was nice to know someone close was looking after her. There was no animus, they were just who they were. Today's Homosexual Community has moved the Goalposts where tolerance of their Life choices is not enough. They want complete acceptance and support, with everyone cheering them on no matter the limits of perversion they push as mainstream.
The recent “studies” showing that Straight People don't want to “date” Trannies while insinuating that makes them those same People sound like they are they ones with the problem is a slap in the face of what is Normal Human behavior in a sane world.
The use of the word PRIDE to describe their movement tells you everything you need to know. I liken it to the words DREAMERS and CHOICE.

We have a winner! Over saturation on TV, on the radio, in movies, in news stories, etc...is starting to cause actual LGBT MEMBERS to hate the LGBT movement!
I know, because I have some homosexual friends and family members and they actually have started HATING the image that the Pride Parades and the TV/movies display. The cake baking is what set most of them OVER THE EDGE! They said, “GO TO A DIFFERENT SHOP!”
One of them said, “Trying to force someone to accept your homosexuality is like trying to force the KKK to accept black members - it ain’t gonna work!”
It is much like the feminist movement has went so far that most feminists don’t want to associate with the Feminist Movement! The “movement” no longer wants to be equal, they want SPECIAL RECOGNITION for being female!

Occam’s Razor
LGBTQ-types in 2019 have become so forward, perpetually outraged, pushy, entitled, and in-your-face that essentially NOBODY wants to be around them.
Nope... I might be inclined to simply look the other way if these people minded their own business and kept to themselves, but these “sinners” have become real assholes and forced themselves upon American family life. They will never get an ounce of mercy or sympathy from me.
Even Oregon, liberal Oregon, voted 60% against gay marriage.
My grandson is 14. It is an ongoing battle to dispel the PC indoctrination he receives on a daily basis in public school. If this generation comes of age not completely brainwashed and ruined I’ll be surprised.
If GLAAD is involved with the poll, there is likely an agenda here. Maybe trying to suggest that hate speech online is causing this, so time to double down on deplatforming?

This woman certainly did not empower queerdom. When I was little, I recognized right off two of my cousins were queer, evil, druggies and flat out sickos. That whole family was sick. Cut them out of my life as a kid and haven’t had anything to do with them since.
I had to take my mother to their dad’s funeral but I sat in the car. Good riddance to him and to two of the cousins. There’s one left and I suspect she’s the “guy” one. Of course, her career of choice was a high school girls’ coach.
