Megan Rapinoe isn’t here to make you comfortable

Here’s the way I look at it. This person had an opportunity to represent the gay community with some class and dignity on the world stage. She could have proudly stood with her hand over her heart, and recited the words. Then she could have said at a presser, how proud she was to represent this country and the freedoms she has been given. Because after all, she is allowed to marry same sex, she is allowed to speak out at the right times and she is using taxpayers money to PLAY SOCCER, SHE FAILED.

Abby Wambach used to be on the USWNT...She is lesbian like Ms. Rapinoe...I never found Ms. Wambach to be obnoxious. I don’t ever remember Ms. Wambach being disrespectful during national anthem...

Jill Ellis is the coach of USWNT...She is lesbian also...I saw her during national anthem...She sang along...No, she did not frown...

I agree that Ms. Rapinoe wasted her opportunity...

Seriously, who the heck cares about what Rapinoe wants, what the US women’s team wants, and frankly what all of US Soccer wants. They have all made the decision to alienate half their fans. So be it.
Now I don’t care if they win or lose. I care about them as much as I care for the women’s team of Monaco...none at all!

It is as if the US Soccer Federation does not seem to care if conservative Americans are offended by Ms. Rapinoe...
It is as if the Federation decided to concentrate on getting more liberals to support USWNT...

There is a forum devoted to discussion of USWNT...I went there yesterday. Somebody posted the story about President mentioning USWNT. Some poster responded by stating that he hates President and supports Rapinoe...He called President a “sociopath”...I have not returned to that forum.
I did not feel like reading anti-Trump comments...
