Sad day indeed!

I started buying and reading MAD, when I was 10 and it was just a regular comic book that cost a dime.And funnily enough, I can still remember what was in many of those very early comic books, after all of these many decades.

When MAD was on, it was ON.

A few days ago on FR, there was a post on the play and movie "Grease." I posted this which I remembered from my childhood...in one panel, MAD cut the whole storyline down to its pernicious essence in a manner that would likely get them torched nowadays:
