I would surmise that they looked at the surveillance video and based their estimation of their ages from that. But that’s just a guess.
No I put it to you that the description “teens” is deliberate, to downplay the horror by implying that this is the bad behavior of children. This is actually the result of a sick culture with the PC media turning a blind eye to the root causes.

So, did they ‘allegedly” loot the place or was it actually looted? add the lack of a video to the article and one knows who them “yutes” were and that they have zero respect for anything decent.

In the first sentence, “allegedly” and “video” are used in the same sentence. Unless the video is deepfaked, there’s no question about it.

I know how to put a screeching a$$ halt to stuff like this:
Manager pushes a button which first locks the front entrance, then the steel doors leading to the back securing the employees, isolating and locking the looting crew in the store until police arrive. Until then, said crew will bathe in the warm glow of cs gas flooding the store from above so the police will have an easy time arresting them.
Post store video footage of so called gangstas suffering the effects of the gas on youtube, with good close up face shots of Lil Boosie Thug spraying snot, spit, and tears out every hole in his face.
This...would put a stop to this crap.
Here in Atlanta, robbing gas stations had become so lucrative and common that unless an employee was shot dead, it wasn’t even investigated.
One Indian owns a large percentage of those gas stations here in Atlanta. A Patel. Normally, insurance covered the losses due to robbery. But it got so bad the insurance company Patel used cancelled him, nor could he find a new one anywhere that would cover him anywhere within 100 miles of Atlanta.
Patel’s security guy came up with the idea to install a remote front door lock that could be operated inside the bullet proof glass cashiers space, locking the robbers inside the store until police arrived.
Patel ran this by his insurance co., and they agreed to resume coverage if he installed this in his stores. He installed this in his worst stores first. It only took a week and two attempts before word got out to the local thug gangs that the gravy train left the station.
