Meghan Markle was branded 'childish' and a 'control freak' today after it emerged her security team warned tennis fans against taking pictures of her at Wimbledon - including one mystified VIP who had no idea the royal was in the crowd.
The former Suits star, 37, made a surprise visit to Court 1 on Thursday to watch Serena Williams accompanied by her old friends Genevieve Hillis and Lindsay Roth, who could be among Archie's secret godparents.
Sally Jones, 64, was seated in the same row as the Duchess of Sussex and during the match was ordered not to take photographs in her direction because the royal was there 'in a private capacity' - even though there were 12,000 people in Court 1 and millions watching on TV.
The shocked PR consultant from Warwickshire, who worked as a sports broadcaster for the BBC and ITV for decades, said Meghan's bodyguard looked 'embarrassed' when she told him she was actually taking a picture of Serena and revealed she hadn't spotted Meghan until he pointed her out.

I’m against harassment by paparazzi and intrusive spy type photos, but I think if you’re out in public, you’re fair game.

Just so you know, Queen Excellent Serena was just fined $10,000.00 for unsportsmanlike conduct by damaging a Wimbledon Court with her racket, during a PRACTICE session. Interestingly, she did this once before at Wimbledon in 2016 during a second round match, destroyed a court and was fined the same amount.
I thought MeAgain was pretty hot in the series “Suits”.

I was talking about her tennis record. Yes she is a prima donna but she has a record to fall back on. I don’t support her professional conduct but the achievement record is the record. The other is a low level actress, lefty and SJW.

Ignore this royal entertainment spectacle. Her 15 minutes are over and done.
Is Wimbledon private?
If so, I would think they can restrict photography and way they see fit.
Optics are lousy, though. But then the royals don’t breed them for brains.
