I’ll do you one worse. I don’t just like a nice peaty Islay, but I like the south shore stuff. The first time I tried one I thought someone put band aids in my drink. It was the iodine , but it very quickly grew on me.
That’s what the Islay folk keep telling me. My brother has been trying to get me hooked on them for years. I have a bottle of Laphroaig 10 yr on my shelf that I’ll go back to once in a while just to see if anything has changed but it’s always more work than pleasure to get it down.
