COOL!!! A friend used to work for him at UC and he was a wonderful, humble man.
At the end, there are questions from the audience. One of the students is a relatively young kid, and he asks "do you think I'll ever be able to go to the moon?"
There's a murmur from the audience, and some off-mike back-and-forth between the panel members. Finally, they hand the mike to Neil Armstrong, who says: "when I was your age, I didn't know that I'd go to the moon."
Huge applause, and that's where the video ends.
Forgot to mention, the event shown in the video took place at MIT.
Not many things anymore get me choked up with extreme pride for our great country anymore but this is one of those times. I am going to try to watch as much as I can. We landed on the Moon a month after I was born.
“”I am more excited stepping on these stones than I was stepping on the moon.””
I know just what he meant. There is a ‘special’ connection with Jesus when you can be in the various parts of the Holy Land where His feet most likely trod.
*ping*
Which one had the coded message for his boyhood next door neighbor who had once told him someone would be ‘on the moon’ before he was successful or whatever???
