Possibly. Ever heard of the famous pelicans of St. James Park in London?
Just conjecture on my part, of course. I was just thinking how small a seagulls’ beak is and that it’s hard to feed them something larger than a peanut....or a mentos, if you harbor a really mean streak.

We have one that looks like that but is 13 lbs of fighting fury. Cats next door tip toe through our yard. Had to practically pull her off a possum that wandered up on our deck. She would eat Sea Gull for lunch. 😆

When I was a kid in Virginia Beach we used to play havoc with the tourists. We’d hang-out at the steel pier or other public place and make sure tourists could overhear our conversations. A favorite was for one of us to ask, “Where are the baby seagulls?” The answer to freak out the tourist was: “Those ARE the babies!”
