I went Keto, with Intermittent Fasting two months ago. It has already made a tremendous difference.

Same here...wow, shock! I did well too, but then I married an immigrant from the part of the world where they know how to age well.
I have worked with numerous women in my job and became good friends with a few. Most end up like Kelly but I know a couple who are in their early 60’s who are very good looking women. One will sport and rocks a bikini around her own pool. These two are the exception to the rule.

The thing is, I am actually eating more veggies than ever since I have been on Keto, it’s not just about eating meat.

Wrong. I”m her age and I’m probably half her weight. And I’m male. Yeah, I’ve gains SOME weight, but I haven’t gained near the weight she has.

She made a very public announcement that she was leaving acting, and the Hollywood lifestyle years ago. As far as I know she hasn’t acted in nearly 20 years, that may be why she was not contacted.
getting morbidly obese has a lot more to do with it than aging.. Ann Margret looked gorgeous at McGillis’s age.. actions have consequences.. she had her day so good for her to live the way she wants is what I say.. if she had been put in that movie that’s all anybody would be talking about,, it wouldn’t have been fair to the movie or her.. really a no brainer

she can gain 100 more pounds as far as I care but she was in Top Gun because of her looks not her acting ability.. that said she also wasn’t a vital part of the movie(the minor role as a love interest} and certainly her part wasn’t needed for the sequel just like Pussy Galore wasn’t in later Bond films.. time moves on.. the film is about Tom Cruise’s character and airplanes..
I pretty sure nobody including viewers, Cruise and the movie producers want to see his ex 62 year old 250lb girlfriend with a butch haircut come strolling in...IMHO
Yep, if you keep the net carbs from veggies or anything else to stay in ketosis, you simply cannot deposit fat - you can only burn it. Just be sure to have enough fatty red meat to maintain required nutrients.
For me it was lamb (including the fat and juice from the fat), cheese on it, avocado, and salad without dressing (lamb juice and the avocado more than served that purpose) - just about 20 net grams of carbs. Just one meal, to keep calories down to a 1000 for now.
(I know, others here can’t deal with it...they still believe their doctors. LOL!)
