This child is a total twat. Lives were saved. Three lives were unfortunately taken by the cowardly shooter, but unlike the Parkman shooting, where the cowardly deputy shirked his duty, the fine members of the Gilroy police force didn’t hesitate to face down evil. By doing so they undoubtedly saved a lot of people’s lives that day. Hats off to them.
Hogg is a fraud. He was home skipping school when the shooting occurred. Mom’s work gave him a outlet that he capitalized on. He should have taken his 15 minutes, thanked everyone for getting into Harvard, despite not being qualified, and then become anonymous while going to school. Instead, he’s making a repeated fool of himself. I still think it is a matter of time that we’ll hear (1) arrested for something, (2) dropped out of school, and (3) living at home in mommy’s basement.

When you come of age, you need to become a tireless, vigilant sheepdog fully equipped to protect and defend those whom you love, you community and the nation from all threats, domestic(criminal) and foreign ( political). Once you arrive at the point of realization that it isn’t guns, nor drugs nor sex nor power that corrupts man, but that man himself is corrupted and only moral, decent and if need be, lethal behaviors stop the enemy at the gate. Just if there were a few armed men at the Garlic festival the other day, just maybe one of them could have stopped the deranged evil boy who killed children and wounded others. Oh, you can plead for peace, beat swords into plowshares and demand that “government” do “something”, but that has proven over the millennia that only an armed man can effectively stop another armed man. One, while reluctantly carrying a sword, understands that the other, eagerly bearing the same, will need to be dealt with appropriately. Our founding documents clearly define that everyone has a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, however, those rights certainly do not serve to limit another’s similar rights, hence, laws. Laws created the gun free zones, the ripe for the picking low hanging fruit, a veritable garden for the evil minded, yet a few honorable men would stand and defend. Take away the right of being armed removes the rational concept of responsibility- run for your lives! Too bad. California, NY, NJ MA IL and others are reaping what they sow.
