Not sure how women can expect to tweak their hormones safely in ways that are sure to not negatively affect the baby, but this is interesting, none-the-less.

I’m guessing that it is environmentally related, in terms of stress. If so, than is controllable by removing stress during a pregnancy.

Some people think hormonal birth control is linked to autism.

Does soy increase estrogen in women? That stuff is bad news.

would be interesting to see if women who give birth to autistic children who claim that vaccinations caused it, if the women took estrogen, or had high levels of it during their pregnancy-

I’ve been suspecting a contraceptive hormones and autism link, I’ve got nothing to prove it though.

I expect something similar is responsible for homosexuality and transgenderism.

Has there been any research on the use of ultra-sound on pregnant women? I have been wondering if that might contribute to autism.

Do phytoestrogens (e.g., soy) and xenoestrogens (e.g., plastic) count? They are less bioactive, but occupy receptor sites, and have risen dramatically in that time frame.

My research work with Asperger’s Syndrome shows that the shift in consciousness processing happened in the third month of pregnancy.

The thalamus doing the sensory input sort for the brain shifted to block emotional stimulus input.

While I’ve found many different causal events, the third month is where the critical shift happened in each case.

My hesitation in sharing more is that I don’t want mothers going on a self blame trip by misinterpreting my statements.

A flag for me when I am working with an Asperger’s person is that they will turn their head to the left to look at me through the right side of their right eye. This causes all optic nerve input to cross over to the left brain, avoiding right brain emotional input.

There are reports that autism is more prevalent in wealthy families. Maybe it is xenoestrogens from plastic water bottles. The poor are more likely to drink tap water.

Sample size is too small. Correlation is not causality. Try harder next time.

It’s easier to blame mothers than say, soy infant formulas. Infant formula manufacturers have a lot more money and juice than moms...

Don’t eat soy products if you are thinking of becoming pregnant, ladies. High in estrogens.

Also if you or your family has Irish ancestry or a history of thyroid troubles.
