My garden is FINALLY starting to catch up. I have a ton of beans to pick today, and lots of cukes and zukes, but I'm most proud of this little baby girl right here! 'Bush Champion II Hybrid' tomato from Totally Tomatoes. Determinate. 65 days. She's ripened two others so far, both over 1# each, with many more on the way. I switched to nearly all Determinate types this season, just to see how much space I could save and for better air circulation in my beds, and so far, so good. Going out to play in the garden for a while. Happy, Happy! 🌻🍅🥒🌶

Admit it: You can’t live without me! :)

You should try this one in your greenhouse. Seriously. The taste is good, too. Very tomato-y. :)

I discovered one little red tomato yesterday and we had a terrific salad with home grown tomato, home grown lettuce and cukes and peppers... and some dill.....the dill “leaves” have a wonderful flavor and liven up any thing you put them on........this is why we garden....

I’m putting up what I can’t eat.

Those things are a dollar apiece!

The rest of my so called garden is kind of pitiful as I knew it would be this year.

My bumper crop of zucchini is keeping hope alive that maybe someday I’ll be able to grow a substantial amount in a more appropriate location with more space and sunlight.

I planted extra specifically for that reason.

I harvested a SECOND tomato! That brings my total garden production to TWO! (2).

Not as big as a golf ball but bigger than the first.

Both already served and eaten.

Whatever else is growing is about 7 feet tall. It makes new leaves like crazy.

Will I see peppers within the next 75-80 days? Stay tuned!

If we can get some Global Warming maybe I can grow 2 weeks into November!
