I’d like to see it added to the various standard Linux repositories. Would make updates cleaner.
This is the problem I had. I used Brave when I was still on Win 7. But even though they have a linux version, it did a whole bunch of no good to my linux and caused persistent warnings to my updater that eventually shut the updater down altogether. I contacted them about repairing these issues with their linux version but they seem to not care.
They need to either not offer this version or fix it, because it caused me hours of chasing down files to delete them all. And there are still settings it changed causing me problems and it looks like I will have to completely start from scratch and reload my linux to get rid of all the damage it did.
And before anyone blames linux... No, it is the Brave download. It has been the only time I have ever had an issue with any software downloads.
