With less than a month before its August 30 premiere, Amazon Studios has released a new trailer for Carnival Row, offering a more in-depth look at the characters portrayed by Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom.

The new Amazon series is set in a Victorian fantasy world that is inhabited by both humans and mystical immigrant faeries, who are highly feared by humans and not permitted to fly.

Delevingne plays a faerie named Vignette Stonemoss, who forms an unlikely alliance with a human detective named Rycroft Philostrate, played by Bloom.

I am a big fan of Victoriana and an Amazon Prime member so I will check it out. Although I have the feeling this might go woke.

If I wanted to see flying fairies, I’d go look for Pete Buttagigs campaign plane.

Overexposed for most of her life. She will be 26 next Monday.
Cara was in a very expensive movie last year (Valerian) that made money($221 Million) , but still lost about $60 Million.

“Isn’t Cara Deli-whatever the chick with the caterpillar eyebrows?”

Yes, and the unmoving expressionless face. Forehead is a polished slab with no wrinkles ...of any kind.

June Moon in Suicide Squad

Female lead in Valarian and the City of a Thousand Worlds

Lovely gal, but little facial expression....

“The city’s uneasy peace collapses when a string of murders reveals a monster no one could imagine as the killer still looms large.

The killer is teased to be ‘something unnatural,’ which is neither human nor faerie.”

Five bucks says this “monster” will be turn out to be something with orange skin, big blond hair, and small hands.

Delevingne plays a faerie named Vignette Stonemoss, who forms an unlikely alliance with a human detective named Rycroft Philostrate, played by Bloom.

With names like those, the movie is bound to be a smash hit.

People will be naming their children "Vignette" and "Rycroft" and "Stonemoss" and "Philostrate."

I remember seeing the trailer for that movie — I thought it was imaginative and very cool. Then, when I finally saw the movie... what a flaming pile of garbage. Ugh. I’ll stick with the trailer.

Some entertainment is better in small doses.
If MTV was still big and showing music videos, that is what this film would have been best suited for. Short and with impact. Or a 90 minute film as Art expression.

I’m hesitant too. If they try to make it into a fable for illegal immigrants I’m done.

Anyone notice just the sheer volume of TV series out there right now. So many I will never watch them all before I die. With so many series competing for our attention, how wise is it to write off millions of possible viewers by letting SJWs write the scripts? One of the reasons I stopped watching Supergirl. And why I write off so many possible TV series.

Have you watched Lillie the 1978 series of Lillie Langtry on amazon prime? Her costumes are to die for...very exquisite!! The series seamstress must have been a genius to reproduce those costumes to a tee!!! That type of intricate sewing will never be seen in this lifetime. .... extremely complicated and time consuming!... ABSOLUTELY FAB!!

Yes, and the unmoving expressionless face. Forehead is a polished slab with no wrinkles ...of any kind.

Which means she looks like most every other actor/actress working today. Even the young women have had this treatment so that they all end up looking like mannequins.

The people on the news on Fox or Fox Business are not immune to this trend. Trish Regan being a prime example. She showed up a year or two ago, pretty young woman with brunette hair and natural red highlights. I believe she even had a few freckles across her nose. Had a natural beauty to her. Now, she has had her forehead botoxed and a nose job and her hair lightened and blonde blocks of color in it instead of the natural red, hiding underneath the brunette color.

None of these things enhanced her looks; and, I would say they damaged her looks. My youngest daughter won't/can't even look at her anymore because, she claims, that Trish now looks like an alien. Her nose is so much smaller, and it reminds me of the last nose Michael Jackson had, very small.

I always thought that Trish Regan had that, kindof, Irish girl, girl next door thing going on and I thought it was quite attractive; but, the powers that be have decided that everyone must be blonde, even the Asian girl, Susan Li, on Varney's show has lightened up her naturally dark hair to a blonde color.

The botoxing though, where you have no facial expressions to speak of, is a trend that I wish would end soon.
