Maybe teachers open their doors each day because they are honestly trying to help the kids, even with their hands severely tied by the libtard commie administration. Any chance of being educated beats no chance at all. If the teachers don't supply an additional, or perhaps the only "eyes on" of the students, there would be more cases of child abuse not reported. The students may not have any wholesome moral adult to talk to or ask about personal problems except for a teacher they have. Learning problems would not identify themselves--it takes a trained professional to do that and seek remedy for it. Even in an environment like that described, teachers are not in it for the money.
