FULL TITLE: Gang member’s mother worked for U.S. Attorney in N.J., outed people who were ‘snitching’ on the Bloods, feds say
A paralegal at the New Jersey U.S. Attorney’s Office used government computers to identify people who were possibly helping authorities and posted a video on YouTube of her gang member son’s co-defendant talking to investigators, according to court filings.
Tawanna Hilliard pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Tuesday in Brooklyn federal court to an indictment charging her with offenses, including witness tampering, obstruction of justice and obtaining information from a government computer, according to officials. Hilliard’s son, Tyquan, a member of the 5-9 Brims set of the Bloods street gang serving a 10 year prison term for robbery in New York, is also charged in the indictment.

My city police would have rejected her application, because of her son. A security guard coworker of mine was recently rejected because her brother is a petty criminal. She’s a good person, however.

What makes you think that Tyquan the Blood’s mom would be an affirmative action hire?
That is probably ‘justice’ in her mind.
Why do I get the feeling she will get the Brenda Snipes treatment, namely, a slap on the wrist, suspension from the job (with pay), then a promotion with higher pay and benefits when she returns from a 6 month paid vacation.
