The implied message should offend any lover of freedom, regardless of the rationalized benefit. It is respectfully urged that the rationalized benefits are actually an insult rather than a benefit. An insult, moreover, which converts people away from taking a constructive inventory of their own talents, in favor of being demeaned as a professional victim.
