Hopefully this will shine a light on this sheriff. I just read on twitter that he’s tight with Maxine Waters and Obama and has been excessively releasing convicts in the run up to the Republican convention next year to sow misery and chaos.
IF the Republican Convention is scheduled for Charlotte next year, the location needs to be changed....
Judges issue bail...or set how high-low the bail is going to be.
Sheriffs who run jails let people out when they make bail or when a judge says the term is up...or....by letting then out when a judge says no bail is needed.
A sheriff does not release people “early.”
A sheriff can be political and not honor ICE detainers or.....in some cases...follow the garbage local.law that disallows local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE.
