My garden is a mess as well. Not only the heat and humidity, but some severe thunderstorms have nearly destroyed the tomatoes. Trying to save as many as I can. Anyway, looking forward to the more moderate weather which will be arriving soon. I hope!

Here's some additional "plant food" (from cherry trees).

They both look so awesome!

I sent some Zucchini Brownies with Beau up to Pre-Bear Camp (it goes: Pre-Bear Camp, Bear Camp, Post-Bear Camp from end of July through end of October) last week and one of his friends hunted for the weekend with his 12 year old daughter and his 3 year old son and they told Miles to tell me that I can bake them brownies any time. (They had no idea there was Zucchini in them; and good!)

If I bake them this cake, they’ll probably move in with us and I’ll have Minions, again! Yay! I miss having Minions underfoot. ;)

We have had another round of serious thunderstorms. It was very intense as there was a tornado warning too! Looked outside after it was all over. tomatoes all over the ground and the plants had broken stems. So I guess that is the end of my tomatoes this year. . :(

You poor kitten! Been there. Done that. :(

I’ll let you all know what I can salvage from my garden, tomorrow.

It’s not even photo-worthy this year...which is a rare thing. :(

we were gone on our wild road trip of 4800 miles and when we came back, the tomatoes exploded..not sure what to do with them all.....

and the cukes....got two big jars of refrigerator dill pickles....

got peppers, good walla walla onions ready to pull, and now the beans too are going strong....even my asparagus beans...

squash all got slow starts and are behind the 8ball plus some critter is sneaking in and eating/taking my trombone squash..
