AWESOME! Glad Cousy was honored- I took up basketball because of Cousy (but of course was nowhere near as good as he was)

As a Boston Celtics’ fan for about 50 years, this was indeed a proud moment.
BTW, in another not-so-great development, one of the Celtics’ owners, Wyc Grousbeck sold one of his houses at Martha’s Vineyard to the Obummers.

Yes, I was disappointed also to hear that the Obamas will be buying Grousbeck’s house and worse than that they were probably buying it at a deflated price. Otherwise I was really looking forward to the revamped Celtics this year.

Me, too, especially after how things went so wrong with Kyrie Irving—and Gordon Hayward.
Excited to watch Kemba Walker lead the team and hope Tacko Fall quickly established himself at the center position. He would make all the difference in the world in defending against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid. The Celts need size in the post to replace Aaron Baynes and Al Horford. Ennis Kanter should also help.
It all depends on team chemistry and the early signs are encouraging.
