Nikki Haley: Anyone but Donald Trump
Nikki Haley is not a fan of Donald Trump.
The Republican South Carolina governor said Tuesday that she’s not sure if she’ll endorse anyone for president ahead of the Republican South Carolina primary, but if she does, it won’t be Trump, according to CNN affiliate WIS Television in Columbia.
She said Trump represents “everything a governor doesn’t want in a president.”
“I want someone who is going to hold Republicans accountable, and I want someone who is going to make a difference, not just for our party but for every person they represent in the country,” she told reporters, just days ahead of the South Carolina GOP primary on Saturday.
This is not the first time Haley has taken a swipe at Trump. In her State of the Union response earlier this year, she shared her family’s immigrant experience while warning against rhetoric that would threaten “the dream that is America” for others.
“During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices,” Haley said from the governor’s residence in Columbia. “We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country.”

Haley recently criticized the president for one of his funnier tweets - perhaps the one about Tlaib’s grandmother being the only winner. I doubt very much that the president would dump Pence for Haley. She’s not to be counted on, not unlike Chris Christie.

Both her parents were non citizens when she was born. The democrats will go full birther on her.
I’m liking what I see of Mike Pompeo for 2024. Haley is a non-starter and Pence is weak. But we need to get thru 2020 first, otherwise there is no country worth saving.

Even if the Democrats don’t, there are enough Republican voters who know what natural born citizen means who will not vote for ineligible candidates to make it suicidal.

I float admiral Rogers for 2024....he saved the Trump presidency from dying before Trump ever got in office. Admiral Rogers is willing to stand on principle and more importantly I don’t think he desires the office but if pushed will run. I also think after Trump leaves office there still will be people to prosecute for crimes that they have committed and I don’t think admiral rogers will let it drop,
If he’s the man (I have no idea), then Trump needs to put HIM in as VP for 2020 so he’ll be in a position to win in 2024.
Will he fire the 80% unconstitutional portion of his cabinet regardless of the Leftist firestorm? That’s who we need.
Pence is a nice guy and will likely make moral decisions
but need someone that on occasion fights and bites.
Don’t think Pence has that type of personality.
Don Jr., on the other hand, is a possibility.
Any hard-nosed savvy businessman with the right patriotic fervor would/could continue Trump’s work.
Either of these NeoCons mean the end of the GOP & conservatives in government.
Bottom line...Pence simply doesn’t have what it takes to be president. Nothing against the guy, I’m sure he’s a nice fellow. But he simply isn’t presidential material.

There is NOBODY on the horizon at this time for the GOP for 2024 as there are NO cagefighting take no prisoners warriors like Trump.
If you could cross Mike Rowe with Genghis Khan, you’d have your total victory in 2024, but there is nobody yet.
The premier virtues for the conservative are prudence and courage. Put them together and you have the leader of the GOP and a Pro-America vision.
