Sad. Fearing the possible harm from government workers is not reasonable. Fearing the possible loss of the Lord’s blessings is very reasonable. Each person is free to choose his fears.

“Each person is free to choose his fears.”

This is China, not the US. And she is a Canadian citizen from Toronto, a graduate of the University of Toronto, and a Miss World winner representing Canada.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in theatre and minor in history and political science and has based her career of acting in films that deal with human rights issues in her country of birth, China. Her VISA request turned down by the Chinese government was for 2015. This is not new.

When Lin competed for the first Miss World Canada title in 2013, she dedicated her piano composition to “those who lost their life for their faith and the millions of people still fighting for their faith today. This was directed at China. And she wonders why they don’t want her to come to China. She asked for it.
