castle doctrine...you don’t wait to see if your life is threatened in your own home...no charges.
To charge them the prosecution would have to show that the shooter did not use deadly in self-defense, defense of his residence, or to protect the life or safety of another. They may be able to show that in this case.
The are private property issues here too. Since when did all property become public community property?
We'll see, but I think you're wrong on this one. I don't think the garage meets the definition of being threatened in your own home. I sure as hell would not have gone to the garage to confront these two fools. I would have locked myself in the house, with my firearm, and called the cops.
I don’t know what faith if any you ascribe to but that position would be pretty much in direct contradiction to any reading of the Gospels that I can think of.
that varies from state to state
some states it is only your home, some your enclosed property, some include outbuidings and we don’t know if this garage was attached.
According to the link below, in Texas, Castle Doctrine applies to attached garages, but not to unattached garages.

Ohio may be different.
Fair enough
But as a man you have to determine do you kill anyone just because the castle doctrine clears you
It wasnt intended as a license to murder
oh look some hippies are picking mushrooms in my pasture 300 yards from my house ....I think I better get my .338 win mag out and kill a few ....Ive got a nice bench rest on the porch...4x12 glass ....should be easy...after all they might try to hump a cow....you know hippies once they get tuned up on shrooms....better to play it safe
Castle doctrine God love it
