Causes of Death
ourworldindata.org ^ | April 2019 | Hannah Ritchie and Max Roser

Posted on 08/31/2019 2:58:29 PM PDT by PROCON

As global population increases, life expectancy rises, and living standards improve, causes of death across the world are changing. In this entry we present a global overview of the causes of death. The data visualisations and explainers in the early part of this entry attempt to provide a comparison between causes and risk factors of death across countries and age groups. The sections which then follow explore the empirical data of specific causes in more detail.

Psst, it’s not climate change, BTW.

Although, a belief in “climate change” is thought to be indicative of the certain death of logic/reason centers in the brain.

Shocking discovery- scientists prove that since Trump’s election, world death rate is projected to be 100% by 2150!

I’ve heard “ he needed killing “ was a cause of death in the South. I wonder where it stands in this study.

If you live long enough, you’re bound to die of something.

“ he needed killing “

I believe that would be listed under 'accidents'.

Though “climate change” policies will put things like dysentery and starvation right back at the top of the list.

Wonder how many deaths can be attributed to over prescribing.

My friend almost died a month ago....warfarin. But did they take him off of it?? Hell no...

A friends hubby died using this drug....couldn't stop the bleeding....His 3rd visit to the emergency room, he finally died.

Suicide by handgun, fired from the weak hand at a DC park (coincidentally having blood that defies gravity probably not a contributor).

Actual data completely contradicts the idiotic nonsense spewing from the left and media. Life expectancy is up. Deaths at younger ages are down. Nutrition is up. Deaths from poor mans' diseases are down while deaths due to rich mans' diseases are up as people live longer.

Bottom line is despite recent rapid population growth, things are getting better for people worldwide. Don't let the bastards get you down.

Warfarin = rat poison.

Prescribed it for me once. Caused so much pain in my lower joints and hips I could barely walk.

Did you ever see the Star Trek episode where the elderly have to die? It was with Janeway and Winchester from Mash

People voluntarily choose euthanasia to prevent the aged from becoming a burden to the younger generation. You couldn’t contribute enough like you did when you were young, therefore goodbye.

I look at how we have a political party now hell bent on extreme government control, it makes you wonder.
