“Im really enjoying being back on the bike but the sport is overrun with liberals”
It does not help when a pack of 100 bikes get out on a 2-lane road to self-righteously block traffic. I used to do a lot of riding on county roads east of Raleigh, NC. I dress in a t-shirt and shorts so I look like a normal person on a bicycle. I move over so people can get around me. I take care not to scare horses. I never had any problem. But when the cycle clubs started showing up with their arrogant attitudes, I started having close calls with people who were annoyed by cyclists. Now, I schlep my bike to the greenway. Yes, liberals ruin everything.
Yup.... Just ask Jim Fixx. Oh, wait you can't ask Jim Fixx, he's dead.
i’m not that interested...
100%
sh1t sh1t sh1t... LOL! we have a winner!!!
Running is good for you, but it will not help you lose much weight, unless you are running a whole heck of a lot every day. I burn about 300 calories in my regular 2.3 mile jog. One small sweet snack will put those calories and more right back in you.
I have lost 15 lbs recently simply by not having any sweets all week except for Saturday and eating a small lunch every day. I am back to my high school weight.
like Under Armour
obviously very technical...
100%...
It seems like every year, one or two magazines start just showing up in my mailbox. I never order them, they come for a few months, and then it stops. Not even a request for payment. A couple of years ago it was Glamor. This year it is SI. The swimsuit issue was an eye-opener. My GF’s son is a sports nut and even he does not want them.
The only mag I get anymore is Nuts and Volts. They are apolitical, which is they way it should be.
Spend some time at buffet restaurants, and watch as a new party comes into the place to sit down.
There’s a reason for that.
Many people too, have observed that after canceling a subscription, it keeps arriving for months, even years sometimes. Why would that be? The reason is because of advertising. They are paid in dollars for the total number of issues printed and mailed out. So the higher the number the better, as far as they are concerned. A certain number of “free” subscriptions will pay for themselves. Obviously the trend is going the wrong way, as people cancel, but they want to keep the party going. If Americans got organized the way the lefties do, it would be REALLY interesting, REALLY quickly.
If only people could figure this out with Cable television and related. Just get about 35 million people to cancel, and really do it, and watch everyone foaming at the mouth. They’d probably activate the Narional Guard. All these wanker outfits are completely dependent on a steady stream of money coming in. It’s spent before they get it. Any disruption would be a catastrophe.
My GF’s son get Popular Mechanics. Never ordered it, has no interest. He gives them to me. It’s another mag gone PC.
Yes, I assume they have to do this to get readership up. It does not bother me, but if I was an advertiser I would be up in arms over this fraud.
I thought that you were intentionally misspelling Cliff Bar, but I see on Amazon that Clif Bloks are an actual product that I never noticed previously. I am sure that I have not seen them at a regular Costco, but they might have them at the Business Center where they have a much larger selection of products for people who have binding machines and convenience stores.
Love the way Android auto-correct changed vending machine to binding machine in my last post. It gives me comfort to know that artificial intelligence still has a ways to go before it will be able to take over the world.
True although I guess I’m thinking more of general interest rather than news magazines. I was at a laundromat recently and they had all kinds of magazines laying around, all of which seemed to have been written by the same leftist cadre.
“It does not help when a pack of 100 bikes get out on a 2-lane road to self-righteously block traffic....”
I don’t disagree with you one bit. The D&L Rail Trail (Delaware and Lehigh) runs right through my township. In this area there is about 60 miles of uninterrupted trail in a very scenic area that also happens to be a tourist destination (Pocono Mountains).
The local bike outfitters rent massive numbers of bikes to mostly New Yorkers (metro area) on vacation. These thrill seekers have zero trail manors. So for that reason us locals avoid the trail during the summer weekends.

That’s exactly it. They are padding the circulation numbers. Waiting rooms and doctor’s offices rejoice, I’m sure. Send it back “refused”, if it’s 1st class periodical or whatever they call it, they have to pay for it. They’ll figure it out.
LOL. This is a COMEDY. Don’t. Take. Srsly.
