Yeah, I saw no reason for the concert before the game. It was almost as bad as the Packers offense so far tonight.

‘cause he is adding diversity to the NFL if he did. And the owners paid a lot of money for that.
I don’t know what Meek Mill does, but it is a real stretch to call it music.
The NFL and NBA are completely DEAD to me. I don't recognize the sports from what I remember decades ago. So I don't watch nor attend any of the games. (I still like baseball and hockey though)
Since I don't watch NFL games, I didn't see it tonight, but I understand Meek Mill is some hip hop / rap "artist" who has served a lot of hard time in prison. And of course he's not exactly a great role model for kids. Which makes him a popular hip hop 'singer' I guess.
Get used to many, many more 'openings' (and half time shows) like the one you saw tonight with Meek Mill. Roger Goodell hired Jay Z as 'NFL Entertainment Director' or some such title. Jay Z also now apparently owns a piece of one of the NFL teams.
It's the "new" NFL now dontcha know. No more country, rock or other normal music. It's all gonna be hip hop / rap / crap from now on. Get on board, or else! /sarc
