Vipper —you be numero uno!!!!

Hi everyone. Been a kinda rough past couple months. AND to top it off on Monday night I took a rough fall. In my front yard on cement driveway. injured my shoulder and hip, skinned up my knee and elbow and broke several ribs. Klutz I am and have always been. could have been much worse with breaks to ankle, wrist wherever so am grateful that my klutziness was minor. I was also carrying a citronella metal bucket/candle and got wax all over my self. What a night & very little sleep since then due to excessive pain.

about all I have been doing is reading. often two full length books a day. Im at wifi now at the hotel I used to work front desk and night audit. Had breakfast and in breakfast room on heating pad and charging up my two devices and the rechargeable flashlight that I use at night. Didn’t go to doc over this. Nothing they can do. I have broken ribs on many occasions and know the routine. Unfortunatey breathing difficulty is one of the “bennies”... that with my shingles neuralgia and anemia make breathing difficult. I still have headaches 24/7.

Pax - I am so very sorry that the earthly journey of your special aunt has ended. I know you felt blessed to have been close over the years and able to spend time with her those last days/weeks. Never easy to let go of special people

JK - RWI ... thank you so much for the gift card. As usual timely and very much needed. I was able to get gas and food! YEA. always a good things.

Lots of medical issues continue and a few new ones have popped up. DEAD END with docs office at this point. My hematology appt was canceled (nothing available til Oct/Nov)... I had one set up for several weeks ago & they backed out I suspect Medicare and Medicaid have A LOT to do with it. They suggested I contact a clinic closer (the one my PA recommended is a bit of a drive but she said they were the best IHO

Keep the news coming and looking forward to the rally tomorrow. I will plan on pinging for it. I know eventually Pax will be with us more. Most of the regulars find us and now and then someone new wanders into our midst. Always nice isn’t it.

Interesting times we are living in. My Chiefs look awesome so far. Hoping Hills injury is small and that he is back for the next game.

My dad has dementia and his short term memory is gone. He’s also started to lose ability to do small home maintenance jobs. So blessed we are able to be back home for him.
