What do the American River and the residents of the Capital building in Sacramento have in common?
Just a memory of a quote
Civilization is when the people don’t “cr@p” in the water supply.
I suppose arresting people for knowingly and willfully contaminating a navigable water way is completely out of the question.

There have been homeless living along the American River for years. You could have porta potties every 30 feet & they won’t use them-—or they will foul those units beyond belief.

[[[The river is teeming with unhealthy levels of E. coli bacteria. Human feces contribute to the problem. Thats because, without access to sanitary facilities, homeless people living along the river use it as a toilet.]]]
Plus the runoff in the storm drains.
Ditto that.
SF may be working on turning itself into the Venice of N America, but the canals will be filled with **** instead of water. :^)
Portapotties for the homeless? Those are just one bedroom efficiency apartments, nothing more.

VELTMEYER STATEMENT ON NEWSOM RECALL
Californians to Recall Gavin Newsom Receive SOS Response
La JollaDr. James D. Veltmeyer, chairman of Californians to Recall Gavin Newsom, has issued the following statement concerning the
actions of the Secretary of State today:
We received the response from the Secretary of State today regarding our first petition filing. It was returned to us with several suggested adjustments and/or modifications. We will make those changes and submit the new Petition immediately. Upon receipt, the SOS has an additional ten days to review and approve. With no more additional changes required, we anticipate approval around the end of this month.
We are taking pains not to rush this process but to get it right as we only have one shot at this. We are not concerned with who is first
with their Petition.
Regarding the Erin Cruz Recall, we considered joining her effort but after reviewing her petition, we realized it was not workable. We read daily of complaints and concerns and confusion from volunteers who dont know how to print, distribute, or where to send her petitions. We expect many of her petitions to be invalidated because of its format.
Our Petition in three different formats is designed to be user-friendly so that one version can be downloaded and printed at home or office and the others used by volunteers or paid signature gatherers. We would encourage all those interested in a successful Recall campaign to hold tight and wait a couple of more weeks until our Petition is officially approved.

I was in San Francisco 11 years ago. Ehhhh. It was a bigger version of Cambridge...Im all set, I dont go to the actual Cambridge.
I remember mounds of homeless people sleeping in the middle of the sidewalk.
Alcatraz was interesting though. Clint did an excellent recreation of the escape in Escape From Alcatraz.
Zero interest in ever going back to the area though.
Never been to Sacramento, highly doubt Ill ever go. I can just crap in my bathtub and walk on it.
E. coli can come from any warm blooded animal.
Of course. Hence your “turd world values.”
