I met Prince in 1985 when he played at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. He was maybe 5’ 5” with 5” platform shoes on.
FYI, Bruce Springsteen is also quite short and small.
I would guess Bruce is 5’6”.
I was 5’10” at the time. He was little in comparison to me.
However, Bruce seemed like a nice guy. He shook everyone’s hand and thanked us for setting up. He acted like a typical blue collar guy. On the other hand, Prince would not even speak to us. He was very standoffish. Plus he was surrounded by 4 very large security guys.

A friend of mine was guitar tech for Prince for a few years. He said he paid his staff top wages but it came with whack rules such as NO EYE CONTACT, and you speak to his handler who will speak to Prince for you. Even when he is right in front of you.
