But can she jump across the English Channel, like Ron Obvious?

This show the way each crossing was affected by the tide in the English channel.

All crossings end up being a rather curved route

It’s amazing, definitely. Did she leave the water at any time? I would think she would have to stop here and there, just to take a break and keep her skin from feeling the full effect of that salt water. I suppose the water ‘simply absorbed and dispersed’ any of her waste products.

If this was an American women, I’ll bet she would have found a few businesses to sponsor, publicize and film her adventure.
She would have a couple of product endorsement offers too.

Once when I was much younger and more vital than I am today, I swam a mile. I was younger then so recovered within a day or so.

The English Channel is 21 miles across at the narrowest point. That would mean back when I went to school (Who knows what it means today?) she swam 84 miles, minimum.

This is a woman I would like to meet.

So she averaged .04 miles per minute, 1 mile every 25 minutes, and 2.4 miles every hour.

54 hours x 60 = 3,240 minutes + 10 minutes = 3,250 minutes

130 / 3,250 = .04 miles (4 100ths of a mile each minute)

.04 x 25 = 1

3,250 / 25 = 130 miles

Very impressive indeed. I'd be lucky to make it .04 of a mile. I think I did the math correctly. 8>)
